Jointed polyurethane o-ring and seamless PU o-ring are different in manufacturing process and performance.
Design: Jointed O-rings are made by PU round belts, cut round belt to your perimeter. and use welding tools to contact it into O-rings, So you can see the connection marks on the surface of the belt. Seamless O-rings are made by molds and injection polyurethane, You can see the upper and lower mold lines, but they are integrally formed.
Installation: Jointed O-rings are easier to install as they can be put in place and tightened. Seamless O-rings require the use of a separate O-ring to create a seal.
Sealing: Jointed O-rings and seamless O-rings both can provide a sealing.
Material: Jointed O-rings and seamless O-rings are both made by TPU polyurethane materials.
