During the installation of a polyurethane belt, pay attention to the belt's alignment and position to ensure that it fits correctly into each pulley system. For multi-groove belts, make sure that each groove is correctly embedded in the corresponding wheel groove. Once installation is complete, the tensioner pulleys need to be adjusted to give the belt the right amount of tension. A belt that is too tight will increase wear on the components, while one that is too loose may cause the belt to slip and interfere with proper transmission. Finally, start the engine and check the operation of the belt. Observe whether the belt has abnormal shaking, noise or running phenomenon. If problems are found, stop the engine immediately to check and adjust.
Daily maintenance method:
1. Periodically inspect the urethane belt for signs of wear or damage and adjust the tension as necessary. If the belt still does not meet the specified requirements, it must be replaced with a new urethane belt. When replacing, all the belts on the same pulley should be replaced at the same time. Otherwise, due to the different lengths of the old and new belts, the load on the urethane belt is not evenly distributed, resulting in the vibration of the belt, the transmission is not smooth, and the working efficiency of the urethane belt drive is reduced.
2. In use, the running temperature of the polyurethane belt should not exceed 60℃, do not apply belt grease casually. If you find that the surface of the polyurethane belt glows, it means that the polyurethane belt has slipped, you should remove the dirt on the surface of the belt first, and then apply the appropriate amount of belt wax. Clean the urethane belt with warm water, do not use cold or hot water.
3. For various types of polyurethane belts, should not be coated with rosin or sticky substances, but also to prevent contamination on the oil, grease, diesel fuel and gasoline, otherwise it will corrode the triangle belt, shorten the service life. Polyurethane belt wheel groove can not be stained with oil, otherwise it will slip.
4. Polyurethane belts should be stored well when not in use, and should be kept in a place with low temperature, no direct sunlight and no oil and corrosive fumes to prevent them from deteriorating.
